Early Childhood
✨ The Age of Discovery
Early childhood is the period of life that begins at birth and usually extends to around six years of age. During these first years, children experience rapid growth in their bodies, brains, emotions, language, and social abilities.
The brain develops very quickly, creating many connections that support learning, movement, communication, and understanding the world. Experiences during this stage, such as playing, talking with adults, exploring the environment, and receiving care, help children build important skills for later development.
This period is also when children gradually become more independent. They learn to express their needs, manage their emotions, interact with others, and develop their own personality. Good nutrition, health care, safety, and positive relationships with caregivers all contribute to healthy development.
Although every child grows at their own pace, early childhood is considered a key stage because the foundations of many abilities are built during these years.
