Pegasus

✨ The winged horse

Pegasus is a winged horse from Greek mythology, known as one of the most famous creatures of ancient legends. According to traditional stories, he was born from the blood of Medusa after the hero Perseus defeated her, although some versions present different details about his origin.

Pegasus is often described as a pure white horse with wings that allow him to fly through the sky. In Greek myths, he is connected with the hero Bellerophon, who managed to ride him with the help of a special golden bridle given by the goddess Athena. Together, they faced the Chimera, a dangerous creature with the body parts of different animals.

Later traditions gave Pegasus additional roles and meanings. In some stories, he became associated with the gods of Mount Olympus and was linked to inspiration and poetry. According to one legend, his hoof created the Hippocrene spring on Mount Helicon, a place connected with the Muses and artistic creativity.

Although Pegasus is a fictional creature and has no connection with real horses, he remains an important symbol in literature, art, and popular culture. His image continues to represent imagination, freedom, and the human desire to explore beyond ordinary limits.
