✨ Your magic brush

A toothbrush is a personal hygiene tool designed to clean the teeth and the gumline by mechanically removing dental plaque and food particles. It usually consists of a handle and a small head covered with bristles. Most modern toothbrushes use nylon bristles, which can be arranged in different shapes and densities. Manual toothbrushes rely on the movement of the user's hand, while electric toothbrushes use a motor to move the brush head.

Some models include features such as a tongue-cleaning surface or specially shaped bristles, but the basic purpose remains the same. Toothbrushes come in different sizes so that the brush head can reach the various areas of the mouth comfortably, including the back teeth and areas near the gums. During brushing, the bristles make contact with the surfaces of the teeth and disturb the thin layer of plaque that forms naturally in the mouth.

Plaque is a sticky film containing bacteria and other substances; if it is not regularly removed, it can contribute to tooth decay and gum disease. Toothpaste is commonly used with a toothbrush because it can provide ingredients such as fluoride, which helps strengthen tooth enamel and reduce the risk of cavities. Effective brushing involves cleaning all accessible tooth surfaces as well as the gumline, while using gentle pressure to avoid unnecessary irritation.

After use, the toothbrush should be rinsed and allowed to dry. Bristles can become worn over time, reducing their effectiveness, so the brush or brush head should be replaced regularly according to dental care recommendations.
